Its damned shame that the various sports bodies in India are headed by people who have never played the game or know very little of the game. Secondly, most of them are over aged politicians with criminal record. They should be all thrown out and people of merit be brought in. Let the IOC keep out India till this is done. No serious loss and the sportsmen and women can use the intrime period to improve themselves to become medal contenders instead of only be participants in olympics
This ruling Cabal of Corruption led by the Khanniggiriss, is the venal Potty which institutionalized corruption and criminalized the polity of this backward, fetid, poverty-stricken land of filth and squalor. Under their 'stewardship', sport officials are selected based on their capacity and propensity for corruption...finally forcing even the IOC to take a stand against this pervasive criminality.
Let’s give Mr Chautala his due……he has seen the writing on the wall. He knows sooner or later people like him and others like Kalmadi & Bhanot etc will land up where senior Chautala & his elder son are! Hence this vituperative diatribe about senior Bindra.
is too rotten to be rectified so easily . its really a long long process . I will say it will take another 30 years for things to change if we start taking steps now . Its not goin to happen during one UPA or one BJP Government.. But the main problem facing India is the older politicians r training their own family members to enter politics leavin no scope of any other genuine leader .It is happening in each village , city and state of India. not just the Gandhi family. Our People are more than happy in doing hero worship and neta worship . Doesnt matter even if their neta is corrupt , they stil give their unconditional support. This thing will change if we give proper education to our kids so that they dont become like us . but unfortunately even the educational institutions are controlled by the political bigwigs these days which means our kids too will grow up in this rotten system . We must target cleaning of educational system alone. u cant change the minds of corrupt leaders . They are what they are . forget about them. atleast secure India's future if not present,.

I once asked a person who was a devotee of Asaram Bapu . Talkin to him I realised how blindly ppl trust these so called Godmen . He was infact defending Asaram saying , Baapu had told them long back i.e 4 yrs back that such allegations were part and parcel of a yogi's life and he expected this to happen. So he is not bothered . But Asaram's reaction on TV was not a pleasant one . He was visibly furious with media . Which shows he has done sumthing terribly wrong . But our ppl cross all limits while supporting such dhongis , netas and film stars though the picture is so clear infrnt of us.we dont want our kids to have this slave mentality and hero worshipping.. They must grow up in a very confident manner and without any fear of any political clout or fear of any consequence .

chinese r successful because they are working towards a common goal. excellence at any cost .and to make their country stand in the league of developed nations .The leadership is centralised . No conflicting views. No need of bandhs , no need of strikes , no need of anshan ,.because China knows where its going. But we Indians do not even know what we want and where we r heading to.. We are happy go lucky ppl who are self content . We allow our netas to loot at will . and We have made our democracy a joke .
