And where is the organiser going to foot the bill from. donations from your salary will not even light a single lamp for 1 minute.
F1 races are a misfit for this poor nation where only pockets of growth is being projected as India on move. 80% still live in absolute poverty its a shame that this even is happening in the first place in a poor country like India.
Akilesh yadav sarkaar will convert this stadium later into tabela and a granary to store anaaj ir behenji comes to power then she will sell the land and make society flats . fat chance for kangress and beejaypee to ever come back to power in UP.

India is rich a very rich country, it is the peoples mentality that makes it look like a poor country. These sports are not meant for those who cant even afford a single meal in a day. This is a sport of big time player and there are plenty of them in India.. There is no shortage of rich people in India. Beside there is no such thing known as charity and if there is one it starts from ones home.
has gone insane...here there is nothign to eat onion is 100 rs kg and do you think its time for race?? Rahulji and Soniaji is working hard to get things back on track adn they did it right by not supporting race at this moment. it is very good move every kid knows that this jp group is follower of BJP. congress is always with aam aadmi...

hey bongoli...games are national prestige... elections or price of onions have nothing to do with it....pulling out of F1 map is a national shame and on top empty stands will only make everyone in the world believe how bad organizers and planners we are ! dont get everything into politics... get over it and think from national image standpoint.
Dear Raja Sen, even if free tickets are published in newspapers as cuttings, it will not work wonders, you will only get bunch of hooligans who can destroy whatever reputation the sport has. If however, a cricket match could be held in the central area around which the cars can carry on their race, then probably tickets will sell.
raja sen....you are so right, we need more ferraris.....floods are creating havoc in Andhra and Orissa, Yah we need more ferraris to Ferry people. BTW, whi don't you become the communication director of UB group and advice Mallya on how to revive F1 in India... and also give your two bits if Kingfisher airways can also soar the skies.

Fitting reply to Raja who has gone bongors, erm... I mean bonkers.
These ishtupid elitist of our country just have to say something moronic.
However you cry, beat your chest or no matter what you do formula 1 is set to exit from India. That too i think you haven't noticed, today we have a washed out cricket match IndVsAus and you are expecting crowd to come and watch F1 QP and F1 race. They will come to the F1 race if Sachin or Dhoni is racing. You want the fill up the stands for F1 bring two BCCI cars driven by two cricket stars. The insanity of cricket in India is such that we do not even want to read about any other sport, It has already sent Soccer in India to it grave and there is no support either from any where for Indian Soccer to come up despite IIFA various attempts, and the government is itself not supporting Soccer. On the other side the National Game has also lost its share of audience, now dont blame it on retirements of Dhanraj Pillai, Mukesh Kumar, Baljeet Singh etc. If you want to argue that how come Indian cricket is surviving even after retirement of Stalwarts like Dravid, Ganguly, VVS, Kumble and of course Sachin. I can give you a number of examples of nations that play and excel in number or games/sports at International level.I would say it will be idiotic if you ever expect some things in India and Indian people like - Not voting for corrupt politicians, encouraging any other sport/game other than cricket. I am down in the southern part of India and I cannot make up to Delhi but I pity what the people living near Delhi are missing. But that's the way we deem sports other than cricket.

Yet another sada hua, boring phrase: Cricket is destroying other sports. Dude, its the inept sports officials destroying other sports, not cricket or the aam admi. I, like millions in our country, am a cricket nut, and just because a few 100 people like you act cool by pretending to not like cricket, dosent mean that our team will struggle. We are the worlds champs, and also were ranked no1 in tests. And btw, in badminton there are so much funds these days, but what do you have. Players routinely crashing out. Saina has 10 sponsors, but she is yet to win a title in 2013! And for football, athelticism is high priority if you want to do well in European soccer. Our players are least interested and we dont have the genes for it as well. Cricket has given the common man so much joy, so its time other sports develop professionalism(like the BCCI) and the players realise that they develop work ethics and training to atleast stand up to European counterparts.
