I wish you all the best Vishy, knowing a little about this game from reading a book 'ROYAL GAME'. New, young blood is always good for any game, none so more fitting than Chess.
Anand, while technically proficient, has never been a charismatic ambassador of the "sport". Perhaps this Carlsen fellow will bring some much-needed pizzazz and interest in the game.

He has achived enough. As a 21 year old he thrashed the then world champion Antoly Karpov to announce his arrival, way back in 1991. No harm is losing to another prodigy. A couple of decades later, Magnus might feel the same heat against a future child prodigy who may have just born.

He has beaten every recognized Grand Master of his time including Karpov and Kasparaov. The problem is that he doesn't recognize his limitations. When he couldn't win those usual tournaments that he used to win, He didn't recognize the "Writing on the Wall". He should have retired as undefeated world champion as Kasparov did. That would have been more creditable to him.

He sure did liven it up. Just as I predicted, he lost the next game. The final score will be 7-3 tomorrow.
