No doubt who was the better player yesterday.Nole was the deserving winner. Nole and Rafa are one level above the rest of the pack.Will be interesting to see how Murray fares on his return. Rafa was back to his defensive game during the WTF.That was never going to work against Nole.He needs to return to his changed game plan which saw him sweeping the North American hard court season.There he was serving more aggresively,attacking the net,and trying to wrest control of the point earlier.Here he was almost playing a clay court topspin game hitting the ball plonk into the centre of the court.Not gonna work against Nole. The next season seems interesting already.Rafa will surely use the break to fine tune his game and come up with a plan to counter Noles rampaging hard court game.Vamos!!
