If you observe both the games closely, you will notice that it is Anand who has forced Carsen into Draw. He is very clear in his approach. Draw as many games as he can, and put Carlsen under tremendous pressure, for he is not that confident of beating Anand in the Tie-Brekers as he is beating him at the classical format. I reckon they would draw 10 games, and win 1 each to set up the tie-breakers which Anand should peep through.
athough i know that Carlsen is overly talented( at leat 3 or 4 world champions put together)but i feel our own anand has done his preparation for this campionship better and moreover Carlsen is not used to such kind of pressure situation(although i admit that in postional manoeuvre he is undoubtedly the best. i feel our own anand will win this.

mind it ...its world championship. any single game with result is enough for make or break. in such scenario, to take unwarranted risk is foolishness. in my view, desperation will set in Carlsen around 6th-7th game as Anand is king of rapid. Carlsen will not like to go for tie breaker. Anand should wait for Carlsen to make mistake.

Since when have you been watching this game? The ferver is not because of the 2 drawn matches. It is because of an Individual keeping his country's flag fly high in the International arena for the past 2-3 decades. Mass adulation do not come overnight, except possibly in Movies. I guess your interest areas are different. That is why you do not understand vishy's real contributions. Try playing a chess game in your mobile phone. You will know how much of an intelligence is needed to play a game.

First, understand the basics of chess and then try to follow the game over a good period of time. And you will come to know why.
