Humility is the best virtue in any walk of life irrespective of duration of professional career.

The polished, decent and well mannered Anand is far superior to all Dhonis, Yuvarajs, Kohlis who act like "Prodigal sons" on getting some marginal success and start lying high up in the sky.

Our Best Wishes are with likes of Vishwanathan Anand.

Anand has done so much and brought india so much of laurels but still he is not given the same kind of attention as to what sachin gets...no doubt sachin has done wonders but anand has done much more and considering cricket is a team sport and sachin required a partner at the other end for him to achieve the milestones but anand had to do it single handedly...i dont deny there is a team which is behind anand aswell but when it is real action anand has to face the challenge....so feel the whole media is biased and is getting over board with sachin retirement...

dude have you lost it?!?!? The match hasn't even begun and you are talking about defeat! There is no doubt that I will support Anand and so should all Indians!!! Chess is not like cricket, if your mind is fit and alert you can play for much longer than even Anand's 43 years and I hope he plays for many more years. Good luck, Vishy, the champion chess player!!!
