As the current champion, Anand should have the choice of venue. Carlsen being the challenger should not find Chennai to be a problem. This is the best place for Carlsen to thrash Anand and win the World Championship title, in Anand's old hometown and place of birth.

sceptic_critic, probably your mouth has become septic. Carlsen beating Anand ? forget about it..Anand has beaten many positional endgame players, the best of them even today being Kramnik (not Carlsen). Carlsen cannot even dream of playing the complications that Anand can play.

Both of you are dreamers like most Indians are. As for you Ram, you have the mind of a ram and therefore cannot separate the grain from the chaff. Carlsen didn't become Numero Uno in chess by charity.
