King will remain king no matter what
by Anuraug Rathor on Jun 28, 2013 03:11 PM

he has been beaten once badly. Lets see how he comes back. He has made the right decision, becoz still he is fully fit and ready to compete. No 1 remembers ur last few yrs after u retire. Gr8 Sampras won his last Wimby at 28 and struggled for 4 yrs then to finally win USO at 32 n retire. Who remembers his last few yrs. All we know is that he is 1 of the Gr8s with 14 slams. So Federer should rightly continue playing till he is fit to compete

UNTIL HE IS READY TO RETIRE.
FEDERER IS NOT A QUITTER. WHEN HE HAD AN INJURED BACK AT INDIANWELLS, HE PLAYED ON. FEDERER DOES NOT TAKE TIME OFF FROM TENNIS. HE LOVES THE SPORT TOO MUCH TO QUIT. HE IS NOT SCARED OF THE COMPETITION.
FEDERER FANS ENJOY THE KING OF TENNIS PLAYING BECAUSE IT WON'T LAST FOREVER.

HAIL TO THE KING OF TENNIS ROGER FEDERER

Federer is king of tennis just like MIchael Jackson is king of pop...great onvce upon a time but a sheer joke in the final days.Unlike cricket there are no selectors in tennis so he can play as long as he chooses....and however pathetically.Anyway dear friend'king of tennis roger'...FYI the caps lock button is to the left side of your keyboard.Try using it next time you are given time on your parents computer.

There is a crucial difference in the type of sports here, cricket vis a vis tennis. Tennis is an individual game and mostly of professional circuit kind. If you do not play well, you would quickly fade out of this sport. Whereas, the cricket is a team game and certain people can sit in the team despite having gone well past their utility time. Professional tennis needs sportsmen to be at their best. Federer has great achievements and having crossed his peak fitness levels due to age it is only natural that the end of his professional tennis career has begun. I really admire Federer for not only his achievements but also for the way he carried himselves.

Out there, talented guys are dime a dozen. But, champions have something in addition both in heart as well as in mind. They have a mind of steel and a heart full of resiliece. This trait is a generic one and can be seen across all sections of our society. A champion doesn't get disheartened by setbacks or the hardships he has to face. In fact, he barely notices them. He only sees his goal and spends all his time and energy in achieving it. He doesn't crave for other mortal pleasures as for him, achieving the goal is only goal and purpose of his life. It is hard for ordinary people to understand this kind of mindset and may even disbelieve that people of such type do exist. But, remember, in order to understand a champion, you got to be a champion by yourself in your own way in whatever you do. Being a champion is not exactly about your skill, it is actually about the mindset. I saw Federer going down several times in the recent past only to spring back later. It is always good to see people succeeding despite being on the wrong side of age and fitness levels. If Federer claws his way back to the top, it would be a jewel in his already an embellished crown. Champions never give up and you got to be a champion to understand a champion.
