In India there is no live telecast of Fina WorldSwimming Championships 2013, which is deplorable. This is an International event where all major countries are participating, and just because Indian swimmers do not find a place even on the horizon,does not mean that the event should be blanked out. I think with the USA swimmers Missy Franklin & Ryan Lochte about to strike gold, India would be covering it, as we view USA as our natural ally. So far in the competition diving & syncro swimming events took place,in which USA & UK have no presence, and is dominated by our China(of whose success we are very jealous)& Russia, and presently these 2 are leading the medals table with 10 & 7 golds respectively. Rather surprising to see a Chinese swimmer beat the American swimmers in a freestyle event.
