1. Ramanathan Krishnan - Seeded 4th in Wimbledon singles - reached Wimbledon SF twice.

2. Ramesh Krishnan - Singles Ranking 16 at one time, Wimbledon QF twice.

3. Vijay Amritraj - Singles Ranking 25, again Wimbledon QF twice.

Now compare these present crop of players and you will realise the quality downgrade.

OUT of the above 3 vijay amritraj needs special mention, he was once considered on par with borg & Connors..they were known as A (AMRITRAJ) B (BORG) AND C (CONNORS)of tennis

Please clarify in the title that it is the doubles rankings which nobody gives a $hit about. In singles rating there is no Indian who is < 100.
