We are not considering one thing, its all about money for all these club owners, there is no doubt he is a good player but his performance has gone down over the years but reason why Manu wanna retain him is his popularity in Eng and in Asia where Man u is making ample amount of money.
Exchange him with Mata along with 10M euro is a dream offer for Man u and being a die hard fan of United, we should grab this opportunity with both hand. We have enough striker to score goal but we need a good mid fielder and Mata will b perfectly suit us.

Rooney has always been a very selfless players.

Am no Man Utd fan, but Rooney is probably the one who runs around the most, will be the first person to fall back to defend, will always pass the ball to someone who is in the better position to score.

In my opinion Man U will make a grave mistake if they let go one of their most dependable players, especially when the whole set-up is changing...I am afraid I see the team shattering if it happens.

He is a star player, very capable and competent on field, always finds a way to score goals.... a top draw like Ronaldo, Messi,RV Persie et al.Any team would grab him with both hands.. such a gem of a player..

Chalsea ake bid for Rooney
by P S on Jul 17, 2013 11:12 PM

Rooney is the finest player and the way he was humiliated by Sir Alex Fergusson and is being continued by the current manager who has recently said that the Rooney is standby striker in olace of van Persie. Such humiliation and indifferent treatment meted out to him is not required. If Mancheste United is not interested in allowing to play him in their matches why they are keeping him as a bonded labour and not allowing him to go elsewhere. If he join Chelsea, United will have no chance to retain their English Premiership Trophy in coming seasons.
