hockey is played in selected parts of the country,one such place is coorg in karanataka. where actually a hockey academy has to be built with Indian coaches and technical expert from Australia or Holland. hockey or football should devolop on grassroot level. I think India does not understand what is grass root level when it comes for development or really do India understand the meaning of development.
