A good team is the one which plays to make its country proud, and so it should be with the political party.

Good for Tennis
by Swathi on Jul 08, 2013 10:42 AM

Something good happening; Win by a player other than the trio of Rafa-FedeX-Djoker is good for the tennis fans. Hope Del Potros, Tsongas also win a few Grand Slams.

ha ha ha. I always said Murray will beat Djoker. I said in 5sets but finished in 3sets.If Djoker in his prime wins only 1-2 slams each year, he won't even reach Rafa's 12GS. No1, No1 will ever beat GOAT Federer's any tennis records.

You must have utilised every single one of your 5 functioning brain cells to make that prediction. And the subsequent prediction of nobody beating Federer's record didnt even utilise that.Stop gazing into the crystal ball and get real. The only thing we can talk about Federer is his glorious past.

when Rafa retires, he won't even have glorious past to talk.

You made a retarded statement that when Rafa retires he wont even have a glorious past to talk about. Is that due respect?Whereas I gave due respect by saying Federer had a glorious past.So give respect and take respect dude. And whether Federer is greatest or not,you have your opinion and I have mine.Dont try to impose your opinion on others and maybe they will also show you some respect.Till then, you will get in return exactly what you dish out to others.

Well played, Murray you deserve this win.It was cleared from the way Murray chased every point (& ball) that he was determined to win this trophy. Congratulations.

Novak's uncharactrestic defeat in Wimbledon
by Lakshmi Radhakrishnan on Jul 08, 2013 10:28 AM  | Hide replies

Looks like a fixed match in favour of the brit. It is a golden opportunity with other big names not in the fray. It is unbelievable and highly uncharactrestic of Novak to lose after a 4-1 lead in the second set. It is not as if Murray played exceptional tennis to beat Novak

You probably are watching tennis for the first time in your life. If this was not exceptional, your judgement of game is awful

simple. Djoker couldn't recover after 5sets SFs.He was fatigued.Give due respect to Murray too.

Very true. Novak must have been pysically and mentally drained out after the sf and that is the reason he could not compete in his usual manner during the final. Murray definitely is a great player having beated rafa, roger and Novak on various oaasions. But I still feel that he won this particular match because Novak was not upto the mark and played a defensive game which Murray took advantage of.

So, Lakshmi, your initial point of the match being fixed in favor of the Brit, has been nullified by your latest statement. Great job!
