No shame losing at this age

Well, Roger would have lost the match. That does not make him any lesser player. He achieved everything in his sport. Even now (at the age of 31 which is considered an age of retirement in power sports like tennis) he is giving his opponents a run for their money. Last match proves one point. He was down for major part of the match, yet took it to five sets. All in all he has given Federer fans everything to cheer. The fact that he is still in top 4 speaks volumes about his greatness. And finally, Congrats to Andy for reaching 3rd consecutive final in Grandslams. But he has to play his skin out to overpower Djoker. It would be a cracker of a Grand Finale. All the best to both.

*yawn*.....nobody's surprised with this result. The only surprise is that it went to 5 sets and that Roger made it to the semis.

Aussieopen semis - Roger and Andy

I too hate to see Roger lose. But we need to accept that Andy has improved his game to a very high level compared to what he was 15-20 months ago and hence has beaten Federer consistantly and dominating the game from the start. Federer on the other hand has been too traditional and not attacking - So this has put pressure on him to lose points at crucial juncture like Ace not coming thru, netting his shots, unforced errors because you wither away the chances you get like leads he got, breaks of serves made etc. I guess he needs to study his opponents far more than present like what Djokovic and Murray do with their coaches- plan to play the opponent and then come to match. Federer too might be doing but doubts arise now as Murray has understood his game, Djokovic is impossible to beat in the present form.

I hate to see Federer lose the game to the arrogant brit, Murray . Hope soon he gives it back in the same coin or better by thrashing him in their next match .

OK Man you like Federer - but why call Murray arrogant Britisher .Just tell me do you see arrogance in any human beings as much as you see in our politicians. I like some one else to win - Federer has become too monotonus but the fact is he is great
