You are a silly fool without any knowledge. Russia was a bankrupt nation few years back, to be precise, it is still. This was the reason that they are no more a superpower and China has started growing after they freed their markets and are growing. Why do u people comment on such topics just to promotr Marxism etc ?

maria underestimated Li, she was so confident that she can beat her easily..she paid for her overconfidence..Li kept on going from strength to strength..it would not be surprising if she eventually wins her second title..

Li Na isn't as bad looking as a majority of Chinese but she isn't Sharapova!

Why?! Why?! Why?!

Why are we stuck with this male hardness finisher?

We Indians hate any Chinese success. Tennis was a sports where India even a decade ago stood head and shoulders above China. We had produced tennis stars like Ramanathan Krishnan, his son Ramesh, the 2 Amritraj brothers, Premjit Lall,Jaideep Mukherjee,Paes,& Bhupathi. India reached the Davis cup finals twice, China's record in tennis was nil, prior to Li Na's arrival on the scene and by winning the French Open in 2011,she put her country on the world map. Today China holds the only ATP1000 event allotted to Asia @ Shanghai which has one of the finest tennis stadium(with retractable roof)in the world. Moreover China is on the verge of taking over the Asia-Pacific grand slam event(Australian open)in the near future.

No need to hate them, we should emulate them and see how the sport governance in this country can be changed.today our players are all involved in confronting the administrators when they should be practicing to compete

by Kd Narang on Jan 24, 2013 11:50 AM  | Hide replies

Li Na and Sania Mirza were AT Par in 2006-2007.
In fact it was Sania Mirza who was expected to get ahead in Asian Race.
Sania, once considered as Monica Seles of India had to withdraw from Singles because of injury.
Now she is No where in front of Li Na who is Now Forbes Listed celebrity.
I feel sorry for Mirza and her injury and Best luck for Li Na.
Missing Mirza from Asian Race.

Ever heard of Liu Xiang? Yes, there are hundreds of other champion products from China's ruthless sports machine. There are producing champions, no doubt and I salute them.
Looks of a sports person dont warrant my comment.

Chinese work harder, their adminstrators less corrupt than Hindus, their nation has less back-stabbers
