India won cricket world cup in 1983 and then after more than 25 years therefore .... Cricket is the only game where working hours lost should be maximum....

bird's eye is not entirely wrong !! it does seem to be a derivative of cricket and football !!
why commplete india is not covered???? i miss PHL, specially Bangalore Lions/hi-flyers and Len Ayyappa. No Chennai, No Hydrabad, this is only half of India covered in HIL. Happy for Hackey but
I do not think it would be right to say that it would bring back glory...I say this specifically because of some reasons..One is..look at the crowds at the stadiums...the turnout is very poor though good international starts are on display. also, since there are many international stars in a single team, it seems difficult for the Indian guys to outperform them...all in all...just another tournament...while is likely to meet the same fate as Premier Hockey League which was launched with much fanfare and turned out to be a total failure within 2 years itself.

No one bidded, but the HIL should have taken some more efforts na!!!! its not fun to c only Half of India
Look at cricket. Its is the game which is wastage of precious time but still people like it cos BCCI is very very powerful & complete in itself. So shd b the the hockey conducting body in india. Thants the only way. Good players we already have.
