what is this VIP confession? he's just a cheat.. this is a win win situation for both him n oprah..she gets megabucks in sponsors..n he gets his cut from admission .. why did he need oprah to confess.. cause he wouldn't get any money with a simple media confession
This is highly unsporting on his part to admit that without doping he could not have won 7 times!! We appreciate and applause the sportsman who attempt in the right spirit of the sportsmanship and get vanquished 7 times! We don't want any sportsman to win by this way is it necessary to win at the cost of your integrity? sanctity? spirit? What is the use of that win Mr. Armstrong?? Sorry we don't get along with you on this note.
I am not a huge cricket fan, but delight whenever India wins.(Wc2011, no 1 ranking in tests etc.). And very often I have heard media talk about how we are a one-sport country, that we are not fit enough, dont have runners, swimmers, footballers etc. But after reading this, and looking at the history of so many athletes using steroids to bulk up and win medals, I think its time to appreciate that we were champions in a clean sport, where drugs come into the picture. Of course there is athleticism in cricket, but not to the point where players have to dope. Its great that we worship genuine heroes like Sachin, sehwag, Yuvi, Bhajji, virat and the likes who have reached the top through good old fashioned hard work, passion and commitment. And not by bending the laws. May they make our country proud even more, and its time the media stops pointing fingers at BCCI and other sports bodies.

well said sir... sachin has been on top...forget about drugs, haven't even heard of a small controversy involving him... because he is indian..we do not respect much....
It's fine and over now that he has confessed, but investigations must be held on how he could do it when the testings surrounding the games were so stringent - he maybe an hidden secret to be discovered that would surely shed some light for future testing of the d oped humans...
