A good pool

It's good to see Sindhu gaining confidence through her international performances. Saina has had a rough year, which isn't uncommon in any sports person's career & if there is hunger , then there's no reason why she can't bounce back.

Sindhu - star shining bright

Commercialism catches up with sportstars in the initial phases of their careers, especially if they shine. We have seen it with Yuvraj, Sreeshant, Sania, Saina, etc., and it affects their game. Some of them have now taken stock of the situation, like Sania, and have steadied their rocking boat. Hope Sindhu doesn't go the same way.

Give her space

One tournament win, she will be treated the top in the world. Then it is downhill all the way. One swallow does not make a summer. We have dearth of sports heroes except in cricket - so all will swoop in on her and distract her

Individual games like badminton, tennis etc., (mostly knock out type)are very tougher than team games like cricket((most corrupted, laziest and nth world game). Even cricketers score many ducks or single digit runs people like you run behind them and worship like g0d.
