A fairy tale ending indeed to the inaugural IBL with Saina led HH winning the cup. In a way it was only poetic justice done the manner Saina stamped her authority and virtually dominated the entire tournament. Sindhu led AW also did well to make it to the finals and give HH a tough fight.IBL has been a grand success and as the organizers have indicated it is only going to grow bigger with addition of events like WD and more teams joining from next season. IBL is going to be ideal platform for our youngsters gaining experience playing the best in the world and India could become a badminton power in the world. It was heartening to see Saina win all her seven matches beating both J. Schenk and T Baun. These wins must have added to her confidence and make her better prepared for international events like All England and other events. As far as Sindhu is concerned she too got back her rhythm and confidence as the tournament progressed although against the dominating Saina she buckled under pressure yet again. However given her talent as she plays more and gains experience she will catch up with her senior.
Success of this IBL will lead to all female fans of cricket to shift to Badminton. Cricket and IPL will lose its sheen because of the scandals and sports like Badminton, which is a power game will rule in future. Even small childrens carrying SAINA's and SINDU'sposters is the first time seen.

Agreed. It is time to forget most corrupted and laziest game called as cricket and focus on other active and individual events rather than team events such as badminton, tennis, athletics, swimming etc., so that India could get as many as medals from Olympics and other international events.
