sports and games in our country are there to pander to the fancies of the high and mighty in the land , any sort of criticism of the functioning is not acceptable as it hurts their image of being so kind to help the sportsmen and sportswomen.
Even our Parliamentarians, Legislators, Corporators, etc and the Ministers do not like criticisms, judgements. They want to have a free hand to kill anything unpalatable to them. The single objective for them to crush dissents. The Courts as a next step limit adjournments and restrict the long long delays in judgements necessitated by adjournments, sickness, etc. etc.
earlier only film stars were controlled by D company now cricketeers too. time it is banned in India for a year. shamelessly the players show 'SAHARA' on their bodies forgetting Sahara has cheated poor millions of their hard earned money.V Ramanathan village rengasamudram
We are sensitive with matter of players and sports. For the board/s it is a lucrative business only. Unfortunate enough that the income is generated by players but they have to remain shut if want a piece. We should not be crazy for games which is turned into business.
In a country where the children has no free access to fields and ponds and open areas to play, why should there be any sports authority at all? If there has to be any, then let the members go on tours, eat, sleep and make merry. Do not criticise them.
Members of both the above authorities should be sent for bed-rest for five years in their concerned states Prisons, because they have messed up every thing, as if it belongs to their father. They don't want to come under RTI, why ? They should better migrate to Pakistan. America, China, Canada countries don't believe in this game of cheaters.But all Indian politicians wants to have control on it.They are not doing justice with their Ministries. Why not to throw them ????
Why just our sports authorities, nobody in India likes to be criticized however objective the criticism is!
Somehow anybody who becomes famous in India and makes money from this acquired fame, thinks it is his or her imperative to protect this fame with unprecedented zeal!
So why single out a government agency like our sports authority?
