'Each of the Chairmen of the six Committees is a highly respected person with experience in Education, Government, Journalism and Administration' - but none has experience in tennis? the khanna family has been there forever. regarding mahesh not pairing with paes, paes broke the partnership end of 2011....there is a reason that mahesh has got the backing of almost every past player in the last few days.

Taking lead from AITA, Congress spokesperson D today reiterated, what all of us have known for a long time, that we are a democratic nation and not a one man/woman/family show.

I think AITA acts like political party.... They forgotten contribution of Bupathi.... They are activing as Leander Paes agent

I am wondering what SM Krishna doing as life time member of tennis.... He should supported Karanataka Lad who done so much... Krishna is waste.... BJP needs to have this as note

Your first point is valid as we dont know what SM Krishna is doing as a life time member of AITA..... However your second point is purely based on regionalism..... Just bcoz Mahesh is from Karnataka it dosent mean that SM Krishna should support him.... Mahesh is a talented player and we all know it but at the same time what he did before London olymics is not correct... If Mahesh has provided valid tennis related reasons for not pairing with Leander then it would hav been acceptable but just bcoz of personal ego he refused to pair with Leander who is also a gr8 Indian player like him.....

Mahesh Bhupathi needs to be shown the door!
by Venkatesa Prabhu on Sep 19, 2012 07:00 PM  | Hide replies

AITA under the earlier Mr Khanna could NOT be termed democratic ... because Mr Khanna was extremely autocratic. Now that Mr Khanna Sr is gone and his son has taken his place, AITA is far more democratic than most other sports bodies. Mahesh Bhupathi and that winner-less wonder Rohan Bopanna conspired in self-interest which led to a loss of a medal in Tennis. It is time that Mahesh Bhupathi is shown the door UNCEREMONIOUSLY and the spineless wonder Rohan Bopanna is also dropped like a hot brick.

have you ever played tennis? don't call rohan a spineless and winless person. he has achieved way more than you or anyone ever else will. he is indias only grand slam finalist after mahesh and leander and achieved everything without the backing of his own national office.

anil khanna has been there forever. there is a reason 99% of former players are supporting mahesh's stance.
