He also called Madhura Nagendra - the gate crasher into the Indian contingent at the London Olympics. they exchanged views about being unwelcome and overstaying guests

Whbats the big deal in SRT calling up Girisha?
by anand ganesh on Sep 13, 2012 10:47 AM  | Hide replies

Saina Nehwal gifted Girisha Rs.2 Lakhs from her earnings for winning India a medal at Paralympics. Now, Sachin will say he would auction his bat and gift the proceeds to Girisha. This miser SRT would never contribute anything from his deep bottomless pockets.

The declaration
by skepticalindian on Sep 12, 2012 09:17 PM  | Hide replies

At 194 was welcome. I think we won the test. Cows could have come home by the time our little master completed those 6 runs for yet another meaningless double century

Correct. in 2011 WC semis, Shahid Afridi missed a trick by not dropping Tendulkar's catch when he was on 85. SRT wud have consumed lots of overs to get those 15 runs for his 100th century and Pakistan would have chased a much smaller total of 225 -235.

India will grow..

India as a nation will grow when this sachin obsession is stopped. It has become excruciatingly painful. We lost Asia cup because of his 100th slow century. I want to hear him talk about reasons he is still continuing like an open debate. Moreover there is not one guy/analyst/commentator has guts to speak openly regarding his downsides. Everyone is milking money with him in business and controlled by BCCI. I hail ganguly/dravid for declaring innings when sachin was at 194. That was the only time I saw someone stood up to this sachin hype/drama. I was also a sachin fan in 90s but I mean common..this blind worship should stop. The guy is a lier when he says he doesn't play for records, I can show in each and every hundred he made from 90s to 100s he plays slowly at the cost of team, always wondered how this world works as NOT EVEN ONE person has openly pointed that out

Well said Bomber. It is almost like hearing myself. I second everything you said. Never seen a selfish and overhyped cricketer like this guy. Kallis/Dravid should have been rated higher even amongst batsmen of his era for their match saving and match winning abilities. Even Sehwag should rate higher.
