he need support to remain in the Indian team. that's why talking all these big big things in front of the media. Come on, you first retaire from the cricket then talk about these changes, fresh blood, youth etc. It does not suit you till you play and lose your name and fame.

Breakfast and Mid-Day meals in schools a must. To prevent Stunted
by Jagdish Reddy on Oct 15, 2012 06:09 AM

Indian kids are more mal-nutritioned than any others in the world.
There are more poor people in India than the entire continent of Africa.
Indians have the most stunted growth than other people in the world.
They are actually getting shorter than Koreans, Chinese and Japanese for example who have the meal systems set up in their schools.
When the average height of the country falls, they can not do well in the world. In 60's Indians were Asian champs in Foot ball. Now they are no where near. The reason is height.
If Tendulkar wants to bring a change in India getting more medals, in addition to concentrating on few sports and individuals to get medals, he needs to strive hard to improve the nutrition of the kids in the country so Indians are not going to be stunted anymore.
It is not about the upper middle class kids but the poor and middle class who are the majority in India.
I wish I can see it in India without corruption.
It can be done as we produce enough food at a cheap price and it can be distributed to the children if we have non corrupt politicians ruling the country.
