It is utter nonsense she is doing it for "giving something back to India" for her success, if this was the case there won't be 'any nominal fees' associated with training.Rather, She is securing her future in way because she has reached in her twilight year of her career and need to mint money ones she stop playing. She has recently quite playing singles and it is matter of time only she will quit tennis.
Good move by Sania. Academies are the best way to train and produce world class athletes. Look at Gopichand's academy for example. India needs more such academies to produce athletes and sports people who can compete at the international level.

Anand plans a chess academy in Chennai. Vijender plans a boxing academy in Punjab. PT usha already has one in Kerala for women atheletes. Its not just about having academy. Its also about encouring kids to take up sports as a serious career option, and govt helping both academies and budding sportspersons with a transparent functioning. Sadly none could happne in India, atleast in the near future.
