Sania Out
by Ajit Birdi on May 30, 2012 09:30 PM  | Hide replies

No problems, there is a tough competition out there.
She May not be world class but she is best in India.
THERE IS MATCH FOR HER, THERE IS NOT ANOTHER SANIA.
Where as other countries spend lot of money on their sports men and women training them.
India does not spend a single fake rupee on them, Indian sportsmen and women do it under their on steam.
Foreign countries such a UK and Europe,Russia, China,USA etc has first class sports grounds.
Even Schools have sports facilities that will put Indian national stadiums to shame.
with such limited facilities and funds, SANIA has done wonders.
She has held Indian head high and flies Indian flag to the top.
WELL DONE SANIA, FOR US YOU ARE SECOND TO NONE, YOU ARE THE BEST.

How long are you going to say at least an Indian has come so far. So far to #190? Do we Indians continue to always have SUCH low standards?

People from war torn countries have won singles GSlams as teenagers and been world no.1.

And you're still gonna say 'let us appreciate this much at least'?
Shame. Ind, we will never be sports power with this mindset.
She has chosen tennis as a pro, not me.
There is a full record of all Sania's losses and the truth is staring at us. See soonavala.livejournal site

Saina Nehwal making an exit in the first round is a news. Not this one. She exits in the 1st,2nd or third round almost always.

Saina Nehwal does not play tennis, she plays badminton, which is a completely different ball game and does not require as much efforts to shoot a shuttlecock in the air compared to a tennis ball which can be traveling as fast as 60mph.
Both games and players can not be compared.

Sachin is a Tax cheat and a congressi slave. Atleast, majority of Indians are not like him.

A 120 crore populated nation unable to produce good tennis player!! This is the situation in all sports except cricket and hockey. A country like jamica very sparsely populated can win 4-5 golds and India hardly wins one!! shame on us!!!!

ur comment is really mad and bad.. there are several factors which influence achievement in sports from Facilities to enviroment to encouragement and even to genes in some cases..

As long as we have problems with uncontrollable population, illeteracy and lower cost of living.. things will not be easy..

Sania is a mediocre player. Jus coz she is the best in Indis does not make her a legend in any way. She thinking of winning an olymic gold is like a lame man thinking of winning the 100 metres dash. A whisker of a chance in the doubles was a possibility but that too would have taken a miracle of sorts. Witha all the money spent on weapons, scams and making politos richer indian sports wll continue to be in doldrums for another 250 years minimum
