of "prolonging" one's career..

Setting & reaching records on sheer laws of "probability",

rather than acheiving anything in "essence".

Just another record

Federer is going to win this French open. Djokovic has been slightly out of form and he is likely to lose in the semis. So a Nadal vs Federer final is likely on the cards.

GOAT FEDERER continues to pile up records
by HUSSAIN MITHANI on May 29, 2012 07:16 AM  | Hide replies

Since jimmy conners, no one has been able to surpass the number of grandslams matches won. Jimmy conners played till 39 and federer will surpass conner's record at the age of 30. what a remarkable feat. The GOAT federer and his unbeatable records will stand forever. It took this long to beat conner's record, and federer is not even done tennis yet. As federer keeps adding more grnadslam victories, this new record will stand for a long long time. Records that have remained for such a long time are being broken by none other the greastest player of all time. WAY TO GO FEDERER.

Two poor service games is all it takes to lose against quality players.
Federer tried his level best to lose this match, but the opponent was just too generous.

thanks to the poor service games by the quality players, federer has won 7 out 11 titles since US open last year. The quality players must be too generous on federer. if you want to makes excuses, you can do better than that one.

what do you mean by nadal was absent?
he lost to soderling.nadal is the best clay court player of all time, but getting to five finals in RG is also a wonderful thing, and in tennis you cannot make a record which is not personal, because it is a individual sports.
