They won the qualifier because there was no good team in the tournament. Hence they became the "best among the worst". Now you will see their real capabilities. In the current tournament they will lose all their matches. Watch it. In the opening game of the Olympics against Australia they will lose horribly. The Indian team is fit for nothing.

I have my facts right. Those were all teams who did not qualify by their own merit. That's why they had to go through a qualifying tournament. You also need to remember that India failed to qualify in the first two qualifying tournaments which had better teams.
is a big joke. Recently when they won the qualifier tourney at home beating teams like france,italy,singapore..etc they were hyped up like anything by utterly foolish media,public,government and sporting faternity. SIMPLY PATHETIC,SHAMEFUL,UNAMBITIOUS

This is just an assumed generalization and that too is absolutely not true. Besides, at elite level, only the cream of the crop comes through and they have the physical capability to boot.
At this level, sport (and for that matter anything else in life) is all a mind game.
And do not forget, we are descendants of one of the oldest civilizations still around, so genetically we have the makeup to be on top of the rest of the mankind. The reason we may not be so are again more to do with our mental state of assumed inferiority than anything else.

That is a pretty immature remark - because what that really means is that you are ashamed of those who brought you into the world and those that have been bringing you up ever since. Yes, it is true that the Indians representing us at that match played far below the expectations but that alone is not reason enough to be ashamed of Indians. The reason to be ashamed of being an should not be those that are at least making it through our slippery system but the rest of us who regularly contribute to the slipperiness of our system, knowingly or otherwise. In fact, those that do make it thru should be applauded at at least showing the rest of us what is possible if one only tries in the right earnest.
