Who is this correspondent it is an insipid draw?Even Gelfand accepts that Anand has played brilliantly.
If you don't know Chess dont know Chess don't write fooolishly.
Why you always belittle Tamilnadu sports persons ? Jealuosy/ignorance/insane ?
The Indians cricketers had shamelessly lost the Test series/Onedays/20-20 with a large margins.Where were you ?

you must be kidding me. the draws were indeed insipid short draws. come out of your racist little mentality and delusions. looks like you have no knowledge whatsoever of the game. get an understanding of the game and go thru all the games played so far, they were insipid preparation draws. if you think anand played brilliantly go look at his game 3 how he botched up a winning position.

it was safe and boring play by both participants, not pushing for a win and having dead dull drawish positions. those are called insipid draws . and by the way, anand plays under an indian flag, not the TN flag, also just because he's an indian or tamilian doesn't mean his draws can't be insipid. jeez get a grip man.

both are averse to risk-taking. neither is taking any sort of risks , plus they are just playing out their computer preparations ; anand had the best chance in game 3 to go one-up, but he mismanaged on the time and finally chose a safe drawish variation.

here gelfand the 'underdog' must be happy , half the match is over and the points are still split. either way, its a very strong gelfand we see here, he's well prepared and ready to surprise, we saw how he played grunfeld twice, he hadn't played that in a serious game in a long time.

won't be surprised to see this tied at the end of 12 games and go to tiebreak.

Yes, they are not taking risk,O.K. But they are not selling their country's pride like Indian Cricketers.
