1. Team to win requires hard work, gel as team, fight like winner 2. Zafar Iqbal is wrong in his conclusion in predicting Indian hockey’s chances in the Olympic. 3. How can a coach involve in the training of team make a statement like this? 4. Zafar’s utterance indicates what kind of people at the helm of coaching. 5. Only the best team in any game wins 6. I suggest hockey authority in India must shun Zafar kind of coaches in the national team.

Those who say Zafar is wrong are people who cannot think. He is absolutely right. The Indian team will probably get the wooden spoon for the last place finish. They will certainly not go to the semi-finals. They are losers. Rediff may not like my statement. But the truth cannot be avoided.

Sometimes truth hurts. But he is atleast practical. Forget SemiFinal berth. A top 6 finish would do wonders to this 11th ranked team.
