Dear All, Can we consider a situation when some footballers used to tie a handkercheif on their head. Some womens putting hair bands ond their head. Hijab is just a covering over the head and not on the face. it is tightly worn around the head. So it is just a wear, though some arabs do not wear it at all. But to stop somebody to play International sports, is absurd. Who decided which clothes to be worn in which sports. Cannot you play cricket in Half Pants, Cannot Cycling be done with Full Pants. Should Tennis be played with Half Pants only. What you see today is completely different from yesterday. The clothes are as per the Convienience it provides in that particular sports. Accordingly the dress code came into being. If two teams have same jersey, than they are given a outer wear to make them differ. Things are changing as the world is going forward. Who knows who will play better. If the girls in Hijab keep winning, may be they will fix a dress code, suitable to their need. So please do not westernize the sports. Let it be for all, each and every one in this world has the right to Sports. Let us not differentiate. Let the players decide what is good and bad. Off course no one should wear something which will hurt others physically. In the Spirit of Sports, Let us play and enjoy Sports.
If their religious beliefs are so important, they should wear their hijabs and stay in their homes.
Whether it is soccer or any other thing, people admire forward and progressive thinkers. What example are these guys setting? We are in the 21st century. Where are we heading?

Yeah, I will make them come out in their innerwears if everyone in the society I live in does.
They should keep up with the sport and not request special favors. Either play like everyone else or stay behind your hijab. And also what about the tight dress? Are they Ok with that? Please don't try to bring in your religion everywhere.
