Some people play for the nation. Others play to win for the nation. Indian contingent believes playing for the nation is more important than winning and that's evident in the results. A nation of over a billion cannot win a single gold medal is a bigger insult to the nation than not participating. If the chemistry between the players is not right then defeat is a foregone conclusion. These guys must be commended instead of being criticized. Ann you Mr. Maken, please. Spare the country from your sermon. Indian politicians have no right to preach national pride to its citizens.

I am actually quite surprised how well written this is. Mr. Nair, you are a whiff of fresh air to this forum filled with m0rons. Hope you dont get dragged in the mud.
It must be admitted that among all SONIA-MMS 's ministers this sports minister Ajay Maken looks balanced and maintains civility.Even in this case although initially he did try to interfere but soon withdrew once he realized the mistake.Ajay Maken certainly looks more sensible and level headed than his colleagues like Kapil Sibbal, Chidambvaram,SM Krishna....
