C Ronaldo is best. But wait till he meets teams like Italy (If at all they progress). Teams with defensive approach will frustrate him initially and he looses momentum midway.

I watched the QF bw Czech & Portugal.The game was quite low on quality.Portugal was by far the better side and would find it extremely difficult against sides like Italy/Eng who play on a defensive /counter attack approach.C Ronaldo will be truly tested against such teams.
Football;s a team game -but players like Ronaldo will always be the exception ! However one wonders what will happen if thsi team meets Germany or Spain ?
C Ronaldo is the best so far in the tournament he has tremendous energy and pace better check the goal post dimensions FIFA he has kissed them nearly half a dozen times now in this event cech is a wonderful keeper on the wrong side
Portugal started off slowly but gained in confidence as teh match progressed and Ronaldo left his stamp of authority as usual!!Petr Cech showed why Chelsea depend so much on him - the hero of the Champions' League final!!

In all time list he won't even figure in top 100's because there are lot many great players in the list. He is one of the good player of this era that's it.

Zinedine Zidane, Puskas, Garrincha, Franz Beckenbauer, Di Stefano, Johan Cruyff, Pele, Maradona, messi are considered as great players. No way CR would make it...

do not exagerate..may be he was one of the best strikers in the current euro 12..he is talented and shows his ablity to score when actually desperately needed..

Krazy, u r actualy crazy... If u doesnt have common sense u dont comment please... I said striker, the name u listed are better plyer may b but when it comes to strike, i dont think others have versatility to stand from him. None of above listed name have the variety of short what Ronaldo having... Left foot/Right foot/head, skill/speed/energy/stamina/hunger... the list will go on...
