India is eligible to send 2 teams for doubles. Then why don't try that. Pl don't pair Mahesh and Paes, who don't even smile at each other. How AITA expects them to win a medal with zero chemistry?
In cricket, though sehwag has differences with Dhoni (as per some media reports), nothing we are gonna lose, as there are 9 other players and to win a game, it is enough even if 2 or 3 perform well. Even a middle school student knows that, it doesn't work the same way in Tennis
The statement "Olympics is a different ball game and tougher" shows how immature our AITA Babus are. Tennis in Olympics is and has always been inferior to Grand Slam. This is a fact and even a kid knows that. As far as doubles is concerned, if these two guys don't even want to communicate with each other, why force them to play. They will ruin any chances of winning the medal. Doubles is a team game and any such bad feeling about each other will have miserable impact. Paes has been very selfish and caused trouble many occasions. It's better to pair Boppanna and Bhupathi.
What a bunch of foolish guys run this 'show' anyway? Do they know anything about doubles tennis? If the players are not even in speaking terms how can they play together? Idiots and egotistic people.

Then y dont you and your best friend go and win us a medal. I am sure you both gel well. idiotic!!! I think this pairing is the best and they have produced best of results.They just need to focus and start considering national interest.

He has always been immature. Even before 2008 olympics he created problems. But he is genuinely talented. and has the potential to win medal for us.

Very true. Bhupathy is mannerless. In fact Paes is a gentleman. Paes was always trying to play down any reft, but bhupathy is immature. Three cheers to Paes. Down down phupathy.
Like Hockey now AITA(Foolish Selectors) making tennis also to fail. Paes is not match winner. Give paes for singles and bhupati bopanna for doubles. Mahesh Bhupathi is the FIRST INDIAN to win a GRAND SLAM title( French Open 1997 Mix Dbles) and what paes did still now ?

Paes won the first ever olympic medal in Tennis for India (and if I am not wrong, thats the only medal for India so far)

Mr. Like Hockey i think you dont know anything about tennis,Leander won medal in oliympics,asian games,and he is one of the worlds best player in davis cup, and leander have won grandslams more than bhupati (cheater)
Thanks to worst politics, our Indian hockey team is at rock bottom. Now our administrators have ensured that our tennis also reached rock bottom in this olumpics. India and Indian sports administration never changes.
