Leander did one mistake when he leaves singles and partner bhupathi to play doubles. That time he was playing his best tennis in singles. Sorry Leander you deserve it for doing such a foolish thing in life.

no he is not doing this time to win medals or playing tennis. This time he is doing it for sania. he is feeling he will get chance to play with Sania. ha ha
This immature ongoing public spat does not happen only with the Tennis stars but most of our countrymen in all walks of life.
We, our EGO becomes larger than the issue and we lose focus on what we should be doing for our country.
It's not only a Bhupathi-Paes issue but an issue that has put our country backwards in many respcts due to which sometime we feel why did we even get Independence.
This EGO/Politics coupled with a political no will to do anything has brought us NO MEDALS in OLYMPICS. What a tragedy.
both are icons and have collectively and individually achieved a lot for themselves and made the country proud . saying that Mahesh should be dropped and someone new should be immediately taken in his place as he cant even shut his mouth up for a event as imp for the country as the Olympics and bringing his petty ego issues to the fore
Why is it that Mahesh Bhupathi, Rohan Bopanna and Sania Mirza all are against playing with Paes. There must be something behind this. Paes is the best player but when AITA can send 2 teams why shouldnt it? If moeny is the problem I think Mahesh can pay for his expenses in London.

Because..Sania is a product of Mahesh Tennis acadamy. Just look this issue alone and you will understand who is relaxing his belt.
He carries heart on his sleev when he plays for india. So despite the moron Mahesh and his blast, Leander will ignore and play for the best. Mahesh has a terrfic inferiority complex because Leander is a better person, better team man, great motivator and more committed than anyone else - only example in the sports in India would be our favorite Dada. After all Leander is the first one to bring individual Olympic medal of Independent India ...
Peas should show some maturity and step aside for Hesh and Bopanna. This would also be in the interest of the country.Probably what Paes thinks that after four attempts if Hesh wins it with Bopanna then fingers would point at him. Leander is a great champ in his own rights and nothing can take that away.Take a bow Peas.

Come on what rubbish you are taking, Pace is one of the fine doubles player in the world, Hesh has become more arrogant, he should not forget it, it was with Pace he started his carrier and what ever he is today is because of doubles he played with Pace.
Pace plays for country, and it is in the interest of the country that Hesh to play with Pace.
When Hesh came in to Tennis Pace was already established player
Like Hockey now AITA(Foolish Selectors) making tennis also to fail. Paes is not match winner. Give paes for singles and bhupati bopanna for doubles. Mahesh Bhupathi is the FIRST INDIAN to win a GRAND SLAM title( French Open 1997 Mix Dbles) and what paes did still now ?

What do you mean by what did Paes do? Paes has won 3 doubles titles and a Grand slam in doubles this year. Bhupathi has won one doubles title and a mixed grand slam this year. So Paes still has it in him. And stop pasting the same thing over and over again.

Raj, Please check your knowledge before blabbing answer to your question what Paes did is he has won 7 doubles and 6 mixed doubles grand slams till now latest being Australian open 2012
