LOOK OUT FOR ITALY AND ENGLAND ---II

GROUP C
Spain-Italy match was easily the best match of round 1 and who knows could even end up as the last match of Euro 2012 ! Spain looked contented and didn’t seem to bother to strain more; perhaps sure of next two wins . Italy is certainly the team to watch and looks most dangerous with sudden attacks materializing from nowhere that shook the defending champs for sure. In contrast to the short passes and the mid-field game of Spain, the Italians’ accurate long passes , the control and the deadly sudden attack are making them the most dangerous side. Can the Croats cause an upset ? No.
GROUP D
If only the English start believing a little more in themselves ? Otherwise why would they feel satisfied and behave as if they had won on just 1 point ? Although France had more of possession and ‘shots’ but It was England which looked faster, pacier, more dangerous and could have walked away with 3 points. So, the English folks , better believe in yourself.
So, which Eight teams likely to pack their bags after Round 2 ? Poland, Czech, ? ? ,Croatia,Ireland,UKR &Sweden.

I think England were very good in First half last night but after the equalizer they went in to too much defense and stopped attacking. All the white jersey were in and around the D. Few more attacks would have changed the fate of the game....well let see how the improve and play in upcoming ones

As you said England did fight in the first half, the second half belongs to France..they missed chances..but after one more match Roney will be back in England, then the whole scenario will change for the better..they will be a force to reckon with..

LOOK OUT FOR ITALY AND ENGLAND ---I
by damodaran mohan on Jun 12, 2012 02:15 PM

So EURO-2012 is through with its Ist round of eight matches. Quite exciting start with Italy-Spain match turning out to be the best of the lot. Another eight matches in round II and eight of the sixteen go back home.Let us attempt a brief Group-wise summary analysis of the performances of the various teams, their chances etc.
GROUP A
The hosts look to get panicky at opposition raids and lucky not to have suffered the fate of a Greek tragedy. Greece on the other hand with dogged defence look more determined along with Russia who are the clear winners for the group.
GROUP B
Whatever happened to the Dutch ? If keeping possession by itself becomes an end in itself then naturally the other side ends up scoring and it happened so .But still the Dutch look good to pull back provided they are more positive. Really difficult to say which two go past the group of death because the way the Gemans played even they could go the way Dutch went down. All four look good and susceptible too. So, chances are one fourth for each of the four.

First of all he is not of INdian origin and even if he was of Indian origin there is nothing to be proud of him;
I would better be proud of the people like Sania mirza who are Indians rather than those who have left their Indian connection million year back

Where is Sachin?
It's so natural that there are NO COMMENTS
Jokes apart, it was QUALITY soccer and French dominated with the ball/passes. Ofcourse, it needed a spark to go 1 down initially

Allez Nasri
