Djokovic-Nadal Final
by anand pathak on Jun 09, 2012 03:16 AM

The best two have reached the final. Nadal has the clear edge on the red clay.
I respect Federer that despite of having slowed down with time and age, he still manages to be in top three. Time will tell who all will have his longevity.
I hope the final is well contested.

Unbeleivable...

i dont understand what is so much of a rocket science in expecting a final in between number 1 & 2. Its good for overall tennis. On current form yes they 2 are surely doing great. But you cant deny people of being Federer fans. You can keep shouting on top of ur voice, but the fact that he has 16 slams will not change, and ur favourate players will have to win many more to equal that number.
I dont understand one thing, at 30 Federer still makes it to the semi's, but you are talking about him like he has lost in the 1st round. This is not sense of the game, this is pure jealousy.
Either you started watching Tennis too late or you dont understand Tennis. These are the only 2 reasons in which a person will not admire the Great Roger Federer.
Nothing more to say. ENJOY.

Yo are getting too sensitive, friend. Nobody is disgracing Roger. They are just pointing out that Roger at this moment has certain weak points which these 2 consistently exploit. The fact that only these 2 have been successful against roger clearly shows how much Roger has kept his game at a very high level even after marriage and after becoming a father. Roger could still bounce back with a much better plan against these two. Let us hope that that happens soon.

Deepak, you are right. You started watching tennis late. That is why you dont know that the greatest ever is Sampras, not Fedex or UPS or DHL.

Sampras was great, but he never reached QF in French open, so how can He be the greatest?

The best 2 players in the world are now facing off for the toughest title in the world. These 2 will have played the last 4 consecutive GS finals on all surfaces.Intense competitors and great human beings,Nadal and Djokovic.May the best man win. Some pundits here were very excited about the 'GOAT' Federer.I had predicted that he would be knocked out by Del Potro but he surprised me(and even his hardcore fans)by beating a limping DelPo.Anyway, the irrelevant GOAT sideshows are over, and as in any serious tennis championships, come the final we have the best 2 players in the world facing off again-Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal.

what do you mean by serious tennis, in last years season ending championship also federer was the winner. Where only top 8 players play. He lost in the SF not in 1st round, so grow up and behave like a man.
