The PINK if for Breast Cancer Awareness. They didn't paint it pink for no reason.

@santa ji - breast cancer is denoted by pink colour. please google it. If you interested in cricket you can check out the Mcgrath FOundation started by Glenn Mcgrath which does work for breast cancer ever since he realised his now late wife was fighting a loosing battle against cancer.
