She will follow the spirit of olympic..that is participation is important rather than winning.I'm sure we will have an odd bronze or silver medal from. may be boxing or wrestling.

Confidence or over confidence or arrogance...??
by SR Hari on Jun 06, 2012 05:03 PM

"As we have already won a World Championships medal, it is not an impossible task. It is very much within our reach. We can do it."

Jwala, I appreciate your confidence. Let us not make too much well before the event itself. You yourself said "qualifying for the Olympics itself is an achievement". Don't you know how tough it would be from here onwards, to win a medal?

Rather than making such statements put in all your efforts and play.

Vishy Anand- a foreigner
by kssunder on Jun 06, 2012 04:48 PM  | Hide replies

Vishwanathan Anand is a spanish citizen and not an Indian and therefore he should not be given any award . He is in a sense a traitor. When asked whether he would clamour for Bharat Ratna he tactfully said it is for the people to decide.He is a SHAME on us because he has opted out of indian citizenship

@kssunder

Anand is a Spanish citizen? Is this true?

Is Nelson Mandela an Indian citizen?

What if Anand tactfully says, upto the people to decide? If he says yes in this interview, will he be awarded the honor?
