How can anybody accept the stupendous success of a country governed by the 'outdated' communist philosophy? It is unthinkable. All the so-called 'democratic' and capitalistic countries should rally together to control the 'chinese communist beast'.Otherwise the world is in danger of being swallowed by the red dragon !!!

Who cares about how many gold medals other countries like China win... They would never win a Cricket world Cup even in the next 1000 yrs & India has already won 2 Cricket World Cups!!! hahaha.. India is a Cricket dominated country and it should stick to its strenght & play to their strength. Prepare flat and spin friendly tracks in India & win all Cricket matches in India & Indian ppl would be happy. Cricket is our only game. Who is bothered about the Olympics!! Who cares whether India wins an Olympic medal or not. Long Live BCCI & Long live Sharad Pawar ji.

in beijing 2008,china topped the gold medals tally(51) against usa(36), then the western and indian media commented that is because of home advantage. moreover just prior to the start of london 2012, the same set of media predicted, as the chinese were on foreign soil, there gold medal tally will diminish by at least 40-50%, thereby projecting a figure of around 27-28 golds,
and the usa tally to go up to 43- 45 golds, moreover china would slip to third place behind usa and russia(28-30 golds).however after the first 3 days of london 2012, china is leading on foreign soil with 9 golds followed by usa with 5. i wish western media specially bbc and our dear indian media to stop such biased commenting and reporting. pages were written on the rivalry between lochte and phelps but there was no mention of sun yang and ye shiwen who both won breaking olympic records and even a world record.frankly speaking it all leaves a stink of jealousy.

We National Democrats have a total different view of sports.
by Vishnu Sharma on Jul 31, 2012 09:25 AM  | Hide replies

We believe that India with a population of a billion plus people should be a TOP SPORTING nation.

We want to be a NATION of strong athletic people not awkward geeks who spend their lives typing away in front of a computer.

We want to raise the level of sports to an unprecedented level in the country and encourage participation in every sport that is featured in the Olympics.

We want INDIAN MEN and WOMEN to be strong and keen in sports all the time and pass this trait to the children they bear.
We want to pour billions of dollars into encouraging all kinds of sports which feature in both the Winter and Summer Olympic Games.

A nation which does well in sports and whose athletes bring glory to it, cannot ask for anything more.

We want Indian participation in almost every Olympic sport to double and we want sponsors to come forward and sponsor every kind of sport.

Cricket can take a back seat for a while.

It is more important to win at the Olympics or in Soccer where more nations participate.

Excellence is sports is a measure of a nation's strength and health.

We NATIONAL DEMOCRATS want more muscle and brawn and teamwork to be the outstanding characteristic of the average Indian man..

Let excellence in sports be the highest ideal henceforth
