It is difficult for us to win medals. I think there should be matches on political games and politics in Olymic. Certainly our politician like Kalmadi, A.Raja, Laloo etc etc will all the gold silver & bronze medals.
Gagan narang has made india proud by winning a medal in london olympics. Central and various state governments have been announcing prizes to him. Finance ministry must make him proud by not deducting income tax on the prize money.
i saw this final it was equal performance with Romanian by narang real thrill of olympic.Qualification round is important inhockey india seems slightly slow otherwise well done

Well,it was 1 point difference between gold and bronze medalist.Competition is too tough.
By the way,Haryana government announced to give Narang 2 crores.
Sahara group is giving 2 kg gold to Bronze medalist,which is about INR 60 lacs.
Already Narang is richer by 2.6 crores.
Ajay Maken already announced to induct Narang as IAS officer.
Although this is only about 20% of what medalists get in China,still not a bad amount.I also think he will get some more crores from other organisations and brand endorsements.

Mr Arun Moitra, please have patience. We shall file a PIL in international court of Justice, demanding reservation of 20% Gold medal.
