Congratulations for ending the medal draught. It is so precious for us. Our media, country, politicians all waste their time promoting criket all the time and even now they don't fail to write about it. In that clutter, media forgets to write our precious sports people who bring actual laurels to the country. At least I am proud of you.

Games is not over yet.

Its ok,China spends about $ 70 billion on sports annually and then they can win 100 medals in olympics once in 4 years.

1 billion = 5500 crores
10 billion = 55,000 crores
70 billion = 385,000 crores annually and no body has complained.

And we just make noise about 250 crores rupees.

Please divide investment against medal,we are in a better position...

Good reply, it is easy to sit on a computer and post whatever comes to your mind, please dont underestimate the efforts this guy has put to prepare himself and at least appreciate his success for the moment.
We bloggers sometimes behave like a frog in the well who thinks his is the only world that exists.

India has 54% population living at below 2$ per day.
2$ = 110INR

Chinese have $3.0447 Trillion USD which is Rs 16775000 Crore Rupees in Forex Reserves

China didnt spend 5500Crore Rupees on CWG like us where kalmadi won the gold.

Bindra was expected to win Gold, but looks like he is coming home empty handed. Well done to Narang. He can still win more medals in other events. All the best.

Gold would have been better, but it is still good. Should we be just happy with winning one medal? China has already won so much, and they have population like us.
