After olympics I think England also follow the fall ot Eurozone nations though it was not a member of Eurozone. Becaz after conducting CWG games by India in 2010 Inflation reached double digits and every price gone up 3 times. Future also seems to be bleak with no point of return to normal. If England also follows Spain,Greece, Italy and France only German remains but it can't lend helping hand to other Eurozone nations. Whole mankind will bound to suffer due to worst economy of Globe and drought. Instead of wasting billions on games they can spend towards poor and upliftment of their living standards and any nation should.nt go for false prestige
I think the opening ceremony was really good and they had a lot of volunteers involved in the ceremony. Few of them were handicapped and that really added the inspiration that is necessary for any show. The industrial revolution followed by war to current musical trend was depicted nicely. It good to see that the Olympics ceremony was not very formal but it included lot of humor with Mr.Beans and Bond involved. It nice to see the modern trend towards which the Olympics Opening ceremony is moving. That was a good move from Danny Boyle. On the whole, it was entertaining and touching.

i agree, CWG was more human. It had bridges falling and rooms with feces in it. It reflected the conditions the masses in india experience on a daily basis. Visitors and athletes of the CWG experienced india in its raw form. There was no show of money, but rather of everyday human failing.
This is in contrast to London, which had no soul and even though it spent money, it wasn't spent for anything spectacular. The quality of the opening ceremony in india was just a little worse but was done with a lot less money.
