yeah but as far as football is concerned, winning in an olympic match is no big deal..spain's top players are rested for the oly, this spanish oly team is a team full of youngsters and inexperienced guys.

good comment taklu..nw a days many ppl in india do not hav proper knowledge of sports..this is due to lack of sports culture..nobody cares abt sports...there is no general interest, in depth knowledge is lacking. If u ask around 10 ppl on street who is 'andres iniesta' 9 ppl cant give u answer..cricket is very popular in our country, but still many ppl dont know much abt cricket..very few ppl can explain abt 'lbw'..i know i am expecting bit too much, but still this situation make me very sad..what kind of generation we r going to produce if we dont starts taking interest in all kind of sports..i started doing that 5 yrs ago...n m living a very happy life..try it n u will understood wot joy really means...please...!!

praddumna pathak It is irrelevant to know on the subjects which we are not interested. If you know about sports keep to yourself. Do not try and impose and act as if you are jack of all.

i agree with you about the lack of knowledge abt. sports and sports culture in our country. and ur right about 'lbw' ,f.ex. i doubt an avg. cricket watcher would know u can't be given out if ball pitches outside leg stump or on drs referral also u can't be given out if impact is outside the line even if the ball is shown hitting the stumps nicely. anyway, like you i also watch and am naturally interested in a variety of sports..
