Hi, Mittal whatever doing is Definitely Good. Its a inspiration . Wat wrong with that? Everybody cant afford to go through all Training required to attain the Olympic. And our Sport Minstry & Great Leader do they bother to utilise our 120 Crore manpower. Ya people in India can be used to Vote only nothing else. Cant even question the Govt to get Drinking water . Jai Hind

India at 2012 Olympics
by carazon on Jul 27, 2012 07:27 AM  | Hide replies

Olympics only 18 hours away. Very important Olympics for India. Expectations are high. If the Indian contingent does well the destiny of Indian sports will change. The fact that we might do well in so many different sports is the most encouraging. I expect 7 to 8 medals with at least two golds. Here are my predictions/ expectations whatever you want to call

Ulterior motive
by Ajay Kumar on Jul 26, 2012 11:11 PM  | Hide replies

A ban i ya person never does anything without an ulterior motive.

With I P L buying and selling cricketers, looks like Mittal wants to start his very own althete-slave bazaar once these athletes start making money and become a viable commodity.

These ban i ya people will never change.

Corporate major, Sahara India on Thursday announced to reward the Indian athletes with pure gold, who will manage to clinch a medal at the London Olympics commencing on Friday. Sahara will be awarding a 5 kg medal of pure gold to athletes winning gold medals, 3 kg to silver medallists and 2 kg to bronze medallists each, at the London Games.

For team events, the 5 kg of gold will be equally distributed amongst all the members of the squad winning gold, 3 kg of gold for silver and 2 kg for bronze, in the shape of medals.

Subrata Roy Sahara, managing worker and chairman, Sahara India Pariwar, said, "I strongly believe that there can hardly be any appreciation which can equate the undaunted efforts put in by the players who emerge victorious in the prestigious Olympics and bring the much coveted honour to our motherland."

"This reward is a small token of appreciation from us to the sportsmen to achieve great success and bring laurels to our beloved nation by procuring such highly acclaimed international distinctions," he said.

Thanks a ton ..MCT and OGQ ..and others
by abc_xyz abc_xyz on Jul 26, 2012 04:18 PM  | Hide replies

Thanks to MCT and OGQ (Olympics Gold Quest) intitiatives, we produced our first individual gold medalist in last olympics. I am sure, the situation is only going to improve in the coming years and India is soon to going to win atleast 25 medals in the near future and be counted as a fast-improving sports nation.

It may be noted that Saina Nehwal is able to stay at top not because of the govt help, but becuase of a very certain coach Pullela GopiChand (who himself was a former world number 6). Similary, Tintu Lukha gained a lot working under PT Usha. These people know what it takes to make a mark at world stage and have given them the right trainng. Continue the great work legends!!!

Lastly, my middle finger to all the polticized sports organizations like BCCI, AITA, HI, AFI who have not only ruined the sports with dirty politics, but have also done numerous scams to fill their coffers.
