Read the report today of Ajay Maken seeking favour for chinese company ZTE when he was a jr. minister in the home department. Don't try to potray an image of honesty, by taking a swipe at others.
If he has the guts he should quit the ministry saying he do want to be minister where tainted ministers are his colleagues. But he do not have the guts. All he wants to do is take a swipe at Kalamadi who has not yet pronounced guilty by competent court other than Kangaroo courts of media rooms.
Kalmadi said ,India will win more that 100 medals in commonwealth games and India did.
Kalmadi said,India will win 70 medals in Asian games,India won 65.
Kalmadi is saying India will win 15 medals in London olympics,India will.
Kalmadi knows Indian sports thoroughly and he is a very capable administrator.
He has been made a scape_goat in the loot where major portion was looted by others who are hiding behind his name.
He is such a nice person that he has not put other thieves_in trouble and took all the punishment of staying in Tihar jail.
Yes,if he is proved guilty,he should be punished.But I think too much is made out against a hyper active person who can only do good for Indian sports.
At heart all sports man likes him as he is their voice.We cannot ignore his contribution to Indian sports.So,I think Kalmadi should be allowed to go to London as till now he is not found guily.If he is found to loot 5-10 crores,that money should be recovered from him and he should be allowed to be involved with Indian sports.
Maken is also right and Maken has done lot of things in his brief tenure.He has arranged foreign training for all Indian athelets going to London Olympics.
But now a days it became a habit to fight everything in front of media.I think Maken and Kalmadi should discuss and resolve the matter...
In a country of billion people,there has been very small investments in sports.We need people like Kalmadi to fight and extract fund for sports..
