Amongst the current drivers Alonso is one of the best because despite the Ferrari car not performing at its best since the last couple of years given a sniff of an oppurtunity Alonso grabs it with both hands. The difference is so obvious that Felippe Massa driving the same Ferrari car hardly figures in the top 10 whereas Alonso is almost always inevitably there at the top finishers.
