These people are not going to get anywhere near a medal, even if they quality. Getting into the finals would be a dream for them. No point in sending people who have zero expectation of a medal.

ever heard of a growth curve.
At least they will get an opportunity to see from a close distance how the champions are trained, how thay practice and get themselves to the peak of their performance at Olympics.
Thease are the people who will come back and improve AND COULD GUIDE, TRAIN THE NEXT GENERATION...
