italy went into the finals very cocky and arrogant, while spain was keeping their cool. the difference after the first goal was apparent, as italy became desperate, it was as if they were thinking that the cup was theirs for thetaking. the moment the second goal was scored they looked despondent - that was confirmation that they were thinking spain were pushovers. bad strategy by italians
italians are drama actors when it comes to faking injuries..havent forgotten mattarazhi zidane episode..spain were truly deserving winners..they are miles apart from their opponents in europe..their true challenge comes when they play in 2014..dreaming for a spain vs samba semis and then final against arg..

Spain would get far more space when they play latin ameriacn sides than they get against european giants like italy m germany , holland, portugal . I do not thik Argentina or Brazil at this moment can trouble Spain at all..first they have to beat other european teams like France and Germany and Italy to meet Spain at later stages of the tournament. Spain are the best side of the world at this moment and by a long distance . They have re defined football in the 21st century . It is real pleasure for football fans across the world to see Spain play in full flow and vigour .

It wud have been a better final if Portugal had met Italy or Germans in the Semis.. Spain & Portugal were the best teams of this Euro cup..
