There were many good players during the later part of this great tennis player career and today he is still good but not capable of winning a slam . It happens when you such great players simultaneously in a given period.
Roddick is a very good player but unfortunately for him, he peaked during the same time legends (nadal and Fedex) were in the making...so being just very good wasn't enough..perhaps, in another Tennis era, Roddick may have ended up with more trophies

He started off very well.Then he had a girl friend.Then on it was a downslide.

Jonnalegedda, he had quite a few girlfriends before he won the US open. And Nadal and Fedex and even Djoker have had their share of fun. Go find a girl, will do you good!

Nadal is not a legend.He is a clay court player who won Wimbledon,US Open and French Open due to surface change,easy draws and not meeting any big serving players during these tournaments.He also won 7 French crowns due to easy draws and not meeting any big servers.
