Olympic Hockey qualifier

India will once again fail to qualify. Dreamers can dream on but reality is that the Indian squad has always been the worst since 1980.

nobody knows about the game. in 80's hockey used to be news maker but there was no internet then only DD and newspapers. still remember how we failed to make to semi in 1981 world by losing to aus 2-1 after missing some 5 simple chances to score goal. then played goalless draw against germany in 1984 to end up third and out of semi, then needed to beat eng to qualify for semi and were leading 1-0 but lost by 3-1 after. all those failures leds to decline and we were out of top six teams in 90's and cannot play champions trophy. all due to politics and same is creeping in cricket and we can see the decline. in 5-6 years Bangladesh will give us good fight anyway they already fancy chances against us than any other team.
